Here is a little rough cut of drone footage I shot during the fog of the Block Island Southeast Light House, The Block Island North Lighthouse and a local beaches. Block Island is known for the town almost being stuck in time around the turn of the century. There is lots of old inns and private mom and pop businesses there as well as many artist selling crafts and artwork. The pace there is like something from a different time. The bestsellers thing to do is to take your car on the ferry and cruise around the island or rent a moped and do the same. Although it is a smaller Island there is lots to do, see and explore. I had such a wonderful time shooting there so I had to spin the drone around and see what shots I could get of the fog rolling in. From what I know about the history it is a very Irish island where many families from New England would come here from Ireland, settled land and created this beautiful environment with a very small town New England Island feel to it. Around the turn of the century it was a report town and since has thrived on vacationers looking for a quant Island not touched by time. One of the most wonderful Islands I have visited and filmed at.
